Missing Neutral Safety switch
I am attempting to re-wire my 67 6 cylinder. I am supposed to connect wires to the Neutral Safety switch which, from all I have seen is supposed to be on the driver's side of the tranny. There is nothing there. No switch, no wires, no place it even looks like the switch might go. Could it be somewhere else? Any suggestions on how to get past this situation?
Thanks, JB |

I by-passed mine on my 94 civic.
It can be a little interesting and potentially dangerous if you leave it in gear and the car jumps forward when you start it. If you go that rout (not recommended) Make sure it is NEUTRAL!!!!!!! or be ready for the consequences of your willful bypass of a safety feature. |
