size matters

Im having a set of FPA headers made, What size collectors do you think I should get? 2.5 or 3" ball? I guess a better question is what size exhaust should I be running? I have a 351, all forged, CHI heads and a Vortech Ysi blower. so will 2.5" be big enough or do I need 3"?

Go with the 3 inch..Even if you decide to go with a smaller exhaust it gives you the option to go bigger in the future. Most performance headers come with a 3 inch collector..

3" all the way back. That YSI is going to feed a lot of air to your air pump, and you need to get it out.

No sir. My small block has dual 3". Maybe if it were stock, but he is talking about a force fed engine. With proper scavenging, 3" will always be better.
