want to get an idea of how much this restore would cost
i know you cant tell much from pictures but if anyone ever did a restore from a similar quality mustang. just looking to see how much i would spend.
its a 1969 mach 1 clone with a 351. motor turned over but i didnt attempt to actually start it. i want to try to get it to show quality if possible (with money being a huge factor) if not no big deal as long as i looks great. here are some pics. i forgot to get a pic of this but there is a little rot on the corner of the doors and the windows can get caught on the crome accents around the doors my dad is a mechanic so i can save some money with that most of the work i would want to do, not pay someone to. thanks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It depends on how far you want to go, what damage/rust you find as you tear it down, and your competence/skills/tools. It wouldn't be difficult to put $20K into it, and that is doing everything yourself.

It really is impossible to say without tearing down the car to see what you have...I agree it is easy to sink 20K into one of these things...That probably sounds discouraging but remember you don't necessarily have to do it all at once...It would be an awesome car when finished...
