Just wondering...
yeah just wondering...
this will be my daily driver if i get a 65-69 mustang for around 1.5k-2k would i be able to get it running for about 1-2.5k ?? also want to drop a 5.0 or something in it. want to push around 250-300hp (don't know much about engine choices) would it be hard to make one a 5 speed? or should i keep it 4 speed? are these mustangs carbureted? me and my dad would be doing most of the work ourselves. give me some tips? |

for the price you are looking at. You are looking a very in need of of work 6 cyl.
All the old Mustangs are carbureted. A running V8 Mustang starts around 5k and a good one will be 9 to 12k If I was you I would try to find something that had something like what you want for 6K to 8k. |

ya your better off getting a tired 5.0 that needs minor repairs for that money. it aint easy making 300 horses even if you had a strong 289 it would still take well over double what your talking about for that kinda power
