inline six question


Are the pushrods of the third gen ford inline six motors interchangeable?

as in between the 144, 170, 200, and 250 ci motors.

no they dont hahaha

i found the problem anyways. the above mentioned engine kept bending pushrods in my 68 mustang. thought it was jumpin time so i pulled the timing cover, not the problem.

ended up, i pulled the head and the lifters were stuck, all of them. they were pumping up but not relieving pressure. ive got it back together and all is well. i just dont know why they would seize like that.
