98 rearend into 1965
I'm installing a 98 mustang rearend into my 1965, my question is what to do with the upper control arm eyelets that are casted into the housing, I could leave them alone but it makes it look "home made". someone told me there is a cover that hides them or do I attempt to cut them off? please help

Welcome to MM Forums
You can cut them off and grind them smooth and paint it up. |

I tried a torch but because it's cast steel, it made a whole lot of sparks compared to regular steel (such as cutting off perches). did not know if if would be better to use a porta band or take it to a machine shop and have them machined off.
