Pewee Valley Auto in Loiusville, Ky

My Son's '66 289 Mustang is there now. Guy is saying his #4 valve is burnt and something about unleaded gas which is silly since it seems like 30yrs now every head is rebuilt with 'hardened' valves. I also had both heads rebuilt by a reputable shop before he left California 2 years ago. Son did say it is running rough with excess smoke out the back. Does not remember any loud noises or color of smoke.
Preliminary estimate is $1500 which sounds way too high. Hard to get the whole story 3rd hand.
Anybody ever heard of this place? If bad, can you recommend another in that area?

I have never heard of them...But I am from Bullitt County...

Wife told me: for 1500 we could fly you round trip out there to fix it! ;-)

$1500 is ridiculous high dude...

You need to talk to BottledGT aka Rob over on LM.Net...

I would go somewhere else.

I would also call this place, they can help guild you to a good place.

I'll let him know about them too. I found out he has the car back home (unfixed) so at least it in neutral territory!
