Shorties or longtubes

in you guys opinions what is better for a 289. shorty headers or longtubes? Now ive even heard the hipo manifolds are better than both but idk

Ranked in the order of recommendation.

1. If you have room, Long tube headers.

2. If you have no room, Shorty's

3. If you have no room & you are trying to look stock hipo.

Hedman #88300 will put out all your 289 can make. About $180 painted $400 coated. IF you want to save money,always buy factory coated hedders,JET-Hot gets about $325 to do hour stuff & You pay the freight both ways.
