car dies when it gets hot?
Ive got a 67 mustang that wont idle when it gets hot. Starts up and run great at first and then once I drive it for about 30 minutes it starts to die. Where to start?
Info I have a 302 with a mild cam. A mallory mechanical distributor. edelbrock 1406 carb and a edelebrock torker 289 intake. It also has a t5 manual trans. Thanks for any info and let me know if you need more info

It sounds like the coil is over heating. See if you have to much voyage to the coil.
It should have 9 to 10 volts. 12V will over heat it. |

Ok Ill check it out. I was thinking vapor lock so I went and got an edelbrock heat insulator. Hopefully one of those will work. thanks

I had to put a ballast resitor in my 69 to correct this coil over heating issue.
