I have a 98 svt cobra pushin 650 hp ITS okay i love my tuner though my 93 civic with fully built b16a sitting on 10lbs of boost. but anyone PLEASE FILL ME IN if this can be done putting a skyline motor in a 240z?
do you mean 240sx or are you talking about the fairlady? if you want to put one into a 240sx it's been done many times and the conversion kit is available. you will have a rough time though as the rb26dett just barely fits into the engine compartment as well as the fact that the 26 comes with an awd transmission. you would be better off using a rb25det or a rb20det you can pick these up for roughly 3k used, imported from japan but be prepared to drop about 10k for the swap. they are not street legal and do not have the proper equipment mandated by emissions testing. as for the car itself you are about 140k shy of what it would cost to buy.
