Whats the fattest tire that'll squeeze under?

Ok, when I 1st built my Mustang 14 years ago, I built it for the street racing look. Now, I have a wife.....that I want to be around .........and kids!!!!

Anyway, I need to trash the 60's look air shocks and fat tires that stick out past the fenders. My question is, whats the biggest tire that'll fit in the back fenderwell?.....and what backspacing?

your are looking at a 5.5 backspacing for a 9" rim. 6" Back spacing for a 10" rim

That will keep them under the car.

You can run a 28" tire
