65 Front Suspension?

Ok so I took my car into the shop today to get it alined and the guy pulled my car in and came back to talk to me not 3 mins later and basicly told me that my entire front suspension was shot and he didn't feel safe touching it....

Well I don't think it's really that bad off but I was just wondering instead of spending thousands of dollars on the suspension, which I would like to spend on an engine build. Is there another car out there that I could pick up cheap and take the suspension out from under that and put it under my mustang. I really don't want power steering or anything just the basics because I don't have the time right now.

Now I'm not doing my car half ass it's just I can only do one "project" a year or so on my income now. This winter I had lined up the engine build and in light of the recent developments I just need something to get me by for a year or so. I would say chassis and suspension will me next winters project, and I'll do it right then.

You should really get the suspension fixed before you mod the engine. A powerful engine won't do you any good when the front end breaks and your car is in the ditch, plus if you're building much of an engine you need to upgrade the suspension from stock or you won't get the full potnetial of the extra power.

Upgraded suspension should always come before engine mods, especailly if the front end is in bad shape.

thats about the same as the grab-a-trak suspension kit. I know horseshoeing used it on his car and loves the results.
