66 Mustang Coupe- Fuse location
Hi everyone!
I have just found this site, kind of by accident. I just got a '66 Mustang Coupe, and painted it and bought rims and tires for it. I just realized my rear light is out, and after changing the bulb, i guess the fuse is blown. Can anyone tell me where the fuses are located on this car? I just ordered the owners manual but it wont be here for 7 business days. Thank you. |

The fuse is fine if it weren't, I believe none of your external lights would work. what you need to do is unplug the wire in the trunk and make sure the contact surface is clean and replug it in. I had the same problem a while back.
as for the owners manual, it isn't that helpful. I would recomend this and this

other connections to check are the turn signal indicator ( a commom culprit) and the brake light switch. wiring diagrams are not in the shop manual but are available separate from many mustang shops such as Mostly Mustangs in Hamden,CT or Mustangs Unlimited.
