71-73 Reproduction Parts?

ive pretty much accepted that i am somewhat at a loss with my year, the fact that they sell 10 different types of quarters for a 67 68 but they can only sell ONE type of quarter for the big machs and its a quarter skin lol. im just making conversation on the curiosity that maybe someone else wants to chyme in on there thoughts of when the aftermarket might start supporting these years.. theyve backd the cleveland pretty well in the past 4 years, its about time to back the car itself. opinions?

71-73 was not the best years for the Mustang. People are starting to restore them more and are asking for more parts for them. More parts will come, but the 65 and 66 mustangs will still rule when it comes to parts.

We had decent luck with some of the parts we needed for our 71, infact when we did ours you could not purchase a grill for it but now you can.

As far as panels, I believe the right rear quarter on ours was replaced, I don't think it was a skin, but I would have to double check.

I remember hunting a lot for parts, but we were able to pretty much find everything except wiring.

Let me know if you need help finding parts, and what you're trying to find.

Thanks for the link to the site... it is awesome!!

We are looking for parts for a 72 Mach 1 also.... complete restoration on it - it is in sad shape - except for the interior - which is remarkably great.

Appreciate the links.
