Everyone's budget is different, way out of mine.

Plan on bagging it? Ride Tech for me. I bought a level two setup off a fellow Mustang enthusiast for 2k...made it a little easier to swallow the price. Love the look though.

1968 Fastback: 331 stroker, FTI cam, N351 Heads with a few upgrades, 4r70w w/3600 stall, 9" locker w/3.70 gears

No problem. We are all here with different ideas and goals for our cars. Part of the fun is just kicking around ideas and doing the research. I have tons of websites and pictures saved that I have come across and although I am no longer really interested in them, it was cool reading and insight gained.

What's the plan for the carbon fiber? Just the look or you needing the weight savings too? I doubt that carbon fiber roof panel is going to do you any good (I just noticed that your sig line says convertible). Fenders, hood? There are a lot more fiberglass hood options than carbon fiber if its you are just going to paint it...leaving it raw is another story.

I'm buying a plain repop hood for my body guy to play with...going for a custom heat extractor hood to match the C channel design in the door. Think turn signal hood, but with wider, deeper openings and closer to the front.
