voltage regulator..
ok so heres the deal i just replaced my voltage regulator and was wondering what the thing was that is connected to it... when you have the voltage regulator all screwed in then you plug the connector onto the 4 clips... no what i was wondering was there is a little round cylinder that comes off of it and connects to the frame.. i was wondering what it was and if anyone has a picture of theirs, just so i know if i connected it to the wrong place..

They use to get a lot on noise in the radio so they use the capacitor to take it away. good plug wires and a newer radio will do the something.

Its been a long time, but I think if you have plug wires that are wire and not carbon, I think that will make noise too.
