Updates on 1967 GT500

Alright got some more info out of her she told me that its not original motor not original to most of it at all so my question is should i take it apart and sell the parts and try and make the money to make it original again or keep it the way it is i mean you all are all right original is worth more and i plan to go original with it so should i sell the parts in it to go original or no i want your opinion

depends on what is not org. i personally would fine an org. motor to replace the one in it. its going to cost money but if your looking into buying one im guessing you have some.

i would never race an org. 67 gt-500. i would replace it and if the engine in it is actually really good take it out and build a race car.

How much are you paying for it too. I think the motor may have a plate from shelby. Not sure about that. I will have to look into that.

I would make it original because the original Shelbys are so rare and hard to find or sell it to someone the way it is dont peice it out that would mean another Shelby off this earth because it has been peiced out. Someone will buy it just the way it is and restore it to original condition if you dont have the means to

i have the means to make it original just that the motor in it i don't think is original i just asking should i sell the motor thats in it to make it an original motor i don't want to sell the gt500 i plan to keep it for as long as i can its a gift from a dear friend i want to restore it back to original so if i ever do have to sell it i can get more for it the question was do i sell the motor in it to get an original motor

and no i can't post pics because i don't have any yet its been getting work done on it and last i heard its getting a clutch and breaks and stuff on it and well if i could go with her on a weekend to look at it i would just that work is interfereing with weekeds

and the question was the motor that is in it is not original which is what she said its a racing motor weather its a roush or something idk i just asking if its a racing motor should i just sell the motor to get an original motor?
