any one have any idea how to track down a specific car?
all those websites that track car vin# only work on cars after 1980 or somtin like that, i want to find my 66 mustang

dmv can track to last owner if still in same state.

Depends on what you mean by track down.

You can decode your warranty plate using sites referenced in the stickys at the top of this forum.

I decoded my '66 and learned tons about where it was built, its original specs, etc...
