Just another look for luck...

Also got the cover for my new speedstick from hurst but couldnt put it in as i didnt have the "quick release mount"!

What the fuck!!! Hurst are a bunch of cunts, i spend 300 bucks on a shifter with no cover, then 50 bucks on a cover with no fucking bottom so cant attatch it to the fucking shifter!!! wHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT!!! Oh and the cover is cheap ass aluminium!!!

If you cant tell im not impressed

The more i play with the car, the more i realise most of it is all new reproduction stuff. So i doubt very much they are original bud. Loving the pics of your ride in the other thread btw, mad jealousy pouring from my viens!

They look nice, but I would never wear them. I don't have seat belts in my Mustang, so I don't have to wear them.

I like them. When i had my 66 i never wore mine i would just slip it on if i got pulled over since there is no shoulder belt.

They cut you in half. I guess they are better then nothing. Mustangs are not safe cars and a seat belt is not going to save you.

i agree those things are death traps. however id rather take my chances vs. seatbelt than bear skin vs. windsheild, broken legs, then black top or concrete.

Yea, kewl seat belts. Mine has GM ones in the back =(

But I'm gonna put 5 point harness in my 65, because of the stock ones being death traps.

yes b/c there where so many people in the 20's-70's that where cut in half that safety standards quickly adapted and righted the problem after 50 years of people being cut in half.

lets see I knew someone who did not wear a seat belt and was ejected from the car and smashed face first into the pavement and died on impact and his arm was ripped from his body

vs.

someone who I know who was driving a 65 mustang and got into a crash while wearing only a lap belt and his face smashed into the wooden steering wheel and was fucked up really bad teeth smashed jaw broken the works but he survived and made a full recovery.

I would rather wear a seatbelt.

My point was that lap seat belts are not all that good and Mustangs are not safe.
