disc brake and power steering upgrades

What is needed and where is the most reasonable place to get parts? I've heard of granada swaps, but is there something else that will work. What about upgrading to power steering. From what I've seen on ebay it would be too expensive. Any thoughts?

You can use a bracket on the 9" that lets you rear disc. I found the brackets at a swap meet and got them for $22 it's all I had left on me and he took it!
Clif,
Do you have a short or long steering shaft. Rag joint?

I am not too concerned about the rear, they can stay drums.

Does it matter if I have short or long? How can I know the difference? Also I have a 9 inch rear posi in my stang, so I'm told. Is ther a casting number that would tell me? I have a lot of questions since I am more familiar with chevys than fords and I plan to get answers from you one way or another.

There might be an ID tag on the rear but if it has been swapped in it probably wont do you any good. the easiest way to tell if its a 9" is to look and see whether or not it has an inspection plate. If it has an inspection plate, its not a 9". If the only way to get the gears out are by taking the third member out from the front its a 9".

Here is a link to an identification page you may find helpfull.

Yeah I'll second the notion how much will it cost me to make the front brakes on my 69 disc?

probably a little over $1300 or around 1300 also depends if you want a power booster and you can check out stainless steel brake corp ive heard good things about them. They have brake kits for like everything. Here's the URL
