how do i find out how big my fuel tank is?


I want to calculate my gas mileage anyone know how?

I think the stock tanks are 14.8 gallons but dont hold me to that.


You dont need to know how many gallons the tank is to calculate it though.

Write down your Odometer reading write after filling you tank up and when you got the the station when your on empty for another fill up. See how many miles you went

Say you went 250 miles ok and fill the tank up say it takes 12 gallons

now divide 250 by 12 wich somes out to 20.83


That means you would have gotten about 21 mpg

A 65 should be 16 gallons. They went to 20 gallons in 69, and I think the 70s had 22 gallons, and they went back to 20 in 71.

You could always drive it till it rides the E, fill it up, and add a couple gallons
