67 Mustang Meet 460 BB Help With Swap

I bought my 67 mustang back that i sold to a guy and he did nothing with either, I also bought a 460bb to put in it... Does anyone know of a site or a list of thing that would have to be done and purchased to do this swap..
Couple of specs
Car is a 67 mustang coupe with a straight 6
Engine is a 460 that came out of a 76 lincoln
Trans is a c-6 heavy duty which came out of the same car

Thanks Ron

See what www.critesrestoration may have.

Its a huge job on a pre 71 stang. you can notch the towers and get swap mounts somewhere D and D or Crites maybe.
Headers will be an issue.

There are guys on 460Ford that have old ones with 545s in them. Its a pretty serious technical site. I suspect thay can help.

Basically, get out your wallet its gonna be spendy.

67's weren't meant to have an engine that big. Biggest they had were the 429 Boss, and if you don't have a Boss Mustang then you can forget about that too (unless you WANT to completely rebuild the car from firewall forward). Otherwise, realistically the biggest you can put in is a 426 or 429...or as brevill said, just have some real fun with your i6. I was considering the same swap, but for me it wasn't worth it given my cars condition. I have an old 65 that needs basically everything replaced so I'll put a bigger engine in there (not as big as a 400+ though) and have fun.

The Boss 429 wasn't introduced until 1969, and it's by far a bigger engine than the 427, or standard 429 because of the hemi head design. If a Boss 429 will fit in a car, anything will. Ford had to redesign the shock towers for it to fit in the 69-70 from the factory.
