New intake and carb

I just got my Edelbrock Performer intake and my holley 650 installed on my 75 Mustang2 and I must say. I didn't think the intake and carb would make much difference in the sound of it but Holy shiatke mushrooms she sounds good now! Haven't had a chance toi take her out because I still have some small leaks I need to fix but she sounded sweet.

I bet that you got a lot of horses from that. Have you done anything to the heads yet?

Not yet. It is a 68 289 Block with fox body 302 heads. I am not sure what year. I know however trhe cam is not stock. I have now developed a fairly large leak from the timing chain cover so a new water pump and resealing the whole thing is in the works now.

Not sure about the newer heads, but I think they lower the compression?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I am gonna stroke it down the road anyways so it really doesn't matter to much right now.

You need some heads from the link. I got good heads but these are better.
