Help identify my carb
I recently bought my first Mustang, a 68 coupe. This will be a project for my 16 year old son and I. The 289 currently has a 2 BBL Autolite carb, mounted with an adapter plate to a FOMOCO 4 BBL intake. With the parts that came with the car, was a Motorcraft 4BBL by HOLLEY. The code on the carb reads E6HE 9510GB LIST 50428. Can anyone help me identify this carb? CFM rating? Is it worth rebuilding? Any feedback?[/b]

Does it run goo? If so, I would not spend money or make it faster until he drives it for a year or so. Most of the time the first car gets creamed. Mine didn't, but there was lots of close calls.
