Rebuilt to Perfection: 1967 for Make-A-Wish

The Super'Stang

The CARSTAR SuperStang is the re-creation of a unique 1967 prototype Mustang created by the Ford Motor Company but never marketed to the public. Jeff Yergovich, owner of R&A Motorsports, the country’s leading restorer of Shelby Mustangs, oversaw and supported the renovation of the vehicle. The automobile was renovated at the CARSTAR Collision Repair shop in Riverside, Kan.
The CARSTAR SuperStang is the meticulous re-creation of the legendary “Super Snake” with details that include an accurate reproduction of the drive train, over-sprays and paint drips that existed on the original automobiles. Not to mention a 468/428 FE Stroker powerplant putting out 525 hp.

The Super'Stang is on a 40 stop tour that raises money at events all over the United States. The tour will end with the sale of the CARSTAR ‘Stang at an auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., in January 2009, with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition, funds raised through the 18-month tour and through individual CARSTAR Collision Repair shops will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Participating CARSTAR Collision Repair shops will give away Make-A-Wish magnetic metallic Wish Stars to customers for their support.

If you want to learn more about the Super'Stang or to donate to this great cause please visit www.carstarstarsuperstang.com.

Happy New Year!

Awesome car. I like how he says it'll be auctioned at a auction in Scottsdale AZ, in January, like it's just another auction....lol. Nevermind that it's the Barret-Jackson auction.
