73 mach 1


in progress of aquiring, working, and restoring a 73 mustang mach 1
i found the car
just need to get go get it and start parting out my 89
sadly
i only have a 4 cyl. to put into it
which is completeley souring the 73
need to find a boss 302 somewere

yeah right you can find a block but you will have to build it yourself. not many have crate boss motors any more. i am still tryin to see if my girls step fathers brother has two. but i don't have much hope for it. might want to start looking for a cleveland engine bro. That should make you happy

do a big block 429, those cars are heavy so it will help to push it haha

4 cyl? NO WAY!!! Won't even pull it out of the driveway.
Newer 5.0s have 300+ Hp. A 460 will fit as will a 429.
Even stock 351W or 351Cs are good.

I stuffed a 460 into a 71 just fine, except for some high compression starting issues with a possible starter overheating. hauls ass. its like putting your 4 cylinder on a go cart.

And its not heavy, just "bigger" than other stangs!

the mph's rise faster than the tach....kinda weird
