1966 289 V8 blockOriginal owner have bill of sale. But can't find any info about block production. any help??? Thanks b66p |

From what i have understand, mustangs never came with Mexican blocks.
The bill of sale wouldn't say anything about the block. Mexican blocks only went into light and medium size trucks.

actually, a few mexican blocks have been found in Mustangs. They have higher nickel content from the iron down south. One way to tell is pulling the pan and looking at the mains. They are beefier than normal. I know it sounds like a pain in the butt, but thats one way.
