short shifter

I have a 65 mustang with a 302 4 barrel. It has a 5 speed tranny in it but im not sure what it is. The guy said something like t9 or something. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could but a nice short shifter. Hurst preferably but what ever yall think is best.

ya sounds about right. What is a good short shifter for it. Im use to my 01 mustang so i have to get back in classic mode

cjponyparts.com sells a short shifter for the t5.i have one in my 66 and love it.

are there any other 5 speed transmission that could bolt up to my 65 302. I want to make sure i have a t5 before i order this short shifter cause it says that t5 are for 1983-2001 models?
