We are talking about Stroked 302.The most common is a 347 Stroker Motor.

it's a bit tall, so you can hide it if you have a raised scoop or something. and that's only for the 64.5, 65s and 66s, i believe the 67+ will fit it without any problems.

I have done it 2 times. But !!! I REALLY Dont like it in there. I sure do hope I have cleared this up. I do like a 347 in a 1965 / 66. Unless We remove the shock towers Then we can do any thing. I am building a 1965 Coupe for Pinks All out, with a Mustang II front suspension and no shock towers with a 429 SCJ and C6. That is really a neat ride. I will post photos of this build. Yeah, I wanted to do the Mustang II front suspension, but my Uncle got his damn panties in a bunch when I proposed the idea and said, "Now now here Son, you leave that car all original and it'll be worth something someday." I understand the mentality, but I don't plan on ever selling it, and I DO plan on driving the living shit out of it. Not driving your car is like having a sexy wife and not fucking her.

There are guys that put 429s and 460s in these cars with stock front suspensions.

I'm curious as to how much power your "highend race motors" make and what cast iron heads you use? I don't agree with your head gasket statement about aluminum heads. I've run aluminum heads for years and never had a head gasket failure that wasn't attributed to a lean condition from nitrous oxide or boost. I've never had a head gasket fail on any of my naturally aspirated engines. I mostly use Cometic gaskets and have the block and heads machined per Cometics recomendations but I also use Felpro 1011s on small blocks with no problems. Hundreds of factory production engines are using aluminum heads and/or blocks these days too with no head gasket problems.
