windshield trim


What is the best way to get this trim off without braking or bending it? If its just easier to bu new repo stuff then I will but from experience repo stuff never fits rights.

1965 Mustang
302 with 4 Barrel edelbrock 600cfm, T5 transmission, Hurst short throw shifter.

I've had good experience with using a screw-driver to very gently and very carefully and very slowly remove it. Just slide the screw driver under the trim and take your time. Though I have to admit, that I have still bent the trim using this method.

If you go to your local tool store. This is the one I Use. cost about $10. When you can keep your ford molding always do.

so far that is the best tool i have found too.just take your time.

thanks for all the help guys. I did it with a screwdriver but that tool would have worked alot better. Its all off in one piece so now its time for headliner and new weatherstriping.
