68 Gt-cs

I know a yougn guy who has a 68 GT/CS got it from an older family member who passed. Uses it as a DD seems to run good, body looks good, needs new paint and some preservation. Guy has no idea what he has!! It has atleast a bag of garbage in the front seat and floorboard. I'd love to rescue this car and restore but not sure what it is worth.

Plan to approach next week, want to be fair but also get a good deal. What is it worth?
