Auburn 8" Posi + Ford 8.0 Ring & Pinion 3:80

has anyone ever heard of whine with this combination (Auburn Posi and Ford Ring and Pinion)? I have taken in back to the shop twice because the gears and third member they just installed whine louder than hell honestly i can hear it way over my exhaust.

now they are trying to f*cking tell me thats how its going to be..... is this acceptable or is this combination not suppose to whine?

NO gear should whine if installed correctly.

Just Ask them when they like to fix it, and bring it down to them. If not, that you will advertise the wonderful work they do at every local show you go to.

the car is currently there and i called today and the secretary lady told me that they sent it into the place again and thats pretty much how its going to be

i was like ehhh let me talk to the owner and he is going to talk to me tomorrow morning

its ridiculous that a simple gear install has turned into a month long thing

it's well known that properly set up gears DON'T whine.. if they're a respectable and reputable shop they should know that and get yours right
