No problems at 4.040 bore on any windsor unless you have one with extreme core shift on the cylinder. I build em at .030 and .040 weekly. As for piston choice there is plenty of choices, your choices are narrowed as you will be using something with a 1.235 or 1.280 compression height. Do the math on whatever rotating assembly you buy as the 69 block is 9.480 So a 4 inch crank 6.200 rod and 1.280 piston stack is 9.48.

Well, I got a block today, so let the madness begin
![]() After I get the block to the machine shop, I'll be ordering my Scat stroker kit, and then it'll be a set of AFR 205s. A few thouand later, and some valvetrain parts, and I'll be running a little stronger.
