loose steering

i have a 68 mustang 302 and i have had lots of problems with the steering. when i first got it the steering was loose and it turned out to be the bushings that connected the power ram to the the frame so i reaplaced those, but it was still loose. All the linkage is tight and the play seems to be between the pitman arm and the hydralic valve, but im not sure if it is that connection or the valve itself can someone please help thanks

Could still be the steering box. I need a new one in my mustang. Everything is
new, but it is worn out and my steering box is sloppy.
