Some questions

I just bought a 1967 mustang coupe with a 5.0 engine a a T-5 tranny( I have to drop in myself still) and I was wanting to upgrade some stuff on it and was wondering if you guys could give me some input. Right now I am looking at this suspension kit but IDK Suspension & Steering - Dmp, Suspension Handling Kit, 67-68 - Early Model Classic Mustang Restoration Parts also I already have Disc brakes, and power steering but any input would be great. I don't know alot about EFI engines, so maybe some help with that to, this car will be a DD bbut will occasionally see the strip. Thanks guys

Yeah I don't have the whole harness for it so I am going to go carburetted and drop a 2- barrel no the 302, I was actually thinking about a 331 stroker. I will try to show some pictures soon

That 5.0 will do well with a about a 600cfm 4 barrel carb. With vacuum secondaries, it will drive like a 2 barrel until you get on it. You should be able to hear the secondaries open. If you get one with manual secondaries, you can adjust when and how much they open.

i dont think i would put a 2 barrel on a fuel injected engine.like cobra killer said ,a 600 cfm would do it.

I am currently doing a 200 to 302 swap (the motor was a 5.0 out of a 91 GT) and I am running an Edelbrock 600cfm on top of a Edelbrock RPM intake. With the other mods already on the motor, its pushing about 365 hp according to the last dyno numbers.

I would def go with a 600 or 650 with vacuum secondaries.

The suspension Kit your are looking at, The main thing it will do is make your car ride real rough. If you are going road racing It would be a low end setup.

289,302,5.0 all mount the same.
For a 6 - 8 Swap, You will need:
Frame mounts, Rubber Engine mount for a V8
Radator
Accel linkage
V8 Rear end
V8 Drag link, tie rod ends, spindles

Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake

Edelbrock Performer Carburetors

That will do it.
