lower ball joint

so i need to change the bushings and ball joints on the lower control arms for my 68 mustang, but ive heard alot of people say not to do this and just get all new control arms, but i already have the ball joints and bushings so id rather not do this. also the ball joints currently on the car are press in and the ones i have to replace them are bolt in, will they work if i drill the new holes, from looking and the lower control arms it looks like they will but im not sure, and if i do do this would there be anyway to remove the lower ball joints myself or would i have to take them to a machine shop to be pressed out?

thanks

by the time you go through all that, you can put a lower control arm on and be finished in 15 minuts.no machine shop labor.
