motor mount woes

Ok so whilst i was at home my dad informed me that he'd been trying to find motor mounts for his 69 mustang with a ford 250 out fresh out of the crate (18 yrs ago) he has mounts that he put there when the engine was swapped(obviuosly worn out now). but the problem is that he has been to many an auto parts store (even Ford) anf they have no idea what they came from and my dad cant remember. they have only one side to the frame bracket with three bolts. he wanted to know whether the mounts out of a 289-351 would work on there. if not what ones will? help!
