They're beautiful cars, but parts won't be as easily available as they are on the more popular models like the mustang. I say go for it, unless it's really badly rusted.

Great for cruising but kind of big & heavy for racing. I would go for a 460ci with an AOD or AOD/e or 4r70W trans and 4.10 gears.

Yeah actually the body is perfect and an immaculate interior. its just been sittin in a shed for a few years out at one of my dad's buddy's house and i noticed it and thought wtf why is it sitting THERE??? Iv asked whats all wrong with it and it just needs a little tune up and some prepping to get it running, i think he said somethin bout needin tranny fluid and just some other little shit like that charge/replace the battery and turn the key. im thinkin side exhaust and a change of paint color cuz the only thing wrong with the exterior is the ugly gold color its painted. how do ya think baby blue with a black hood would look cuz thats wat im feelin. and yes iv watched starsky and hutch with my dad to help get him interested in it too cuz itd be a great father son project.
