Carb / Intake Question
Will edelbrock 1406 Carb fit any ford/chevy 4 barrel Edelbrock intake.. also will the 429 edelbrock intake fit a 351M Engine? Are the bolt patterns and everything the same or what?

There are 2 basic mounting patterns for carbs.
The most common is the square-bore where centers of butterflies form a square. These are most Holley and Edelbrock carbs The other is spread-bore where primaries & secondary butterfly spacings are different. Quadra-Jet carbs. There are adapters for either series if needed. Not sure about 351M & 429 intakes, but I don't think they are the same. |

The 351C/400M Are smaller than the 429/460 Intakes.
They Look Alot alike, But are Smaller. |
