351C engine help


OK me and my dad are dropping a 351 Clevland into his 70 mach 1. It is his old stock car motor he had it bored .30 0ver so i was wondering what size is the exact bore. I cant ask him because he is in the hospitial. Thanks

Sorry to highjack the thread somewhat, but along the same lines. A co-worker of mine has a 70 Mach 1 with a 351C but wants to drop it for a big block 427. Anyone know a good, reputable on-line vendor he can contact? He's looking for a turn-key N/A.

That Motor Will not fit in a 1970 with out working on the shock towers.

that is a 429/460 Motor Stroked.

This Motor Below is what we used and it is Awsome
It is a 427 Stroker Motor and the Long Block was only $5900

That is one sweet ride. The 68, my favorite pony

I only hope my co-worker knows what he's doing. I asked him about having to mod the shock towers and he said he wasn't sure. But he's a smart fella and I'll bet he'll have his ducks lined up before he pulls the trigger.

It Really is a Great power house that you can enjoy driving with out breaking the bank. It will fit all Mustangs.

a 429-460 based motor will fit in a 67 and up mustang platform(it is really tight) the boss 429 is the motor that wouldnt fit
