289 to late model 302 swap.

I am going to swap my 289 with a 93 302 in my 67 mustang. All all my parts from the 289 intake manifold, oil pan, timing cover fit? Also is it possible to keep the serpentine belt setup from the 302?

everything will swap. but if you use the serpentine set up you will need to change your radaitor kneck to the other side on the bottem one.

If you use the serpentine set up you will need to use the 93 water pump.

As far as the radiator, do you know which one will fit or if they made a specific radiator for this swap?

u can swap most of the stuff but without buying a special harmonic balancer the belt system will not work the 81 &later 302 had a 50 oz balance and the 80 back all winsor family engines had 28 oz stock balance

I use the 1969 4 Row for a 351. The bottem kneck is on the driver side.

and you can use the 1968 radator clamp set up. quik and easy.
