Help I need Traction

Ok here is what I have,

Motor:
427W Stroker
486HP / 487 Torque
TCI C4
2400 RPM TCI Stall converter

9" Rear End 31 Spline
3:55 Gears, Spooled
Cal Tracs with the rear pinion angle at 5 degrees

Nitto NT555R 245/45/17 extreme drag radial Tires.

What is going on, Any time I go full throttle It just spins the tires, at any speed.
I have to roll in very slow and feather the throttle to keep it from spinning at any Speed.

The tires clear the fender by 1/16" and clear the leaf springs by a 1/2"

Is there anything else im missing?

The Rear Leafs are 4 1/2 mid eye leaf springs. has 2" wheel flairs now...

KYB Shocks.

What I am looking at doing is putting 3:25 Gears in it.

I would Love to put bigger tires on it. If I Could.

Adding Weight is Like taking Horse power away.

IDK if I want to do that.

well, it'll help put the power to the ground, 400hp at the ground is better than 400hp up in smoke

Yup. They're much better about track prep up there a TRP. Thunder Valley hasn't heard of it, and it sucks.

You have to come up and do a test and tune with us.
We are going to get a group of about 4 of us and go play, about the 3rd friday of Sept.

Just let me know and if I'm free, I'll come up. I probably won't run mine becuase it's slower the Mr. frostys ice cream truck, and it doesn't have an overflow tank, so it won't pass tech, but I'll come hang out.
