Tach Question

67 with 428, tach only goes up to 1000 rpm, i have a Petronix unit and they told me that it should be compatible with the factory tach, i was wondering if the tach is calibrated for the original dual point distributer if that could be the problem??

Have you ever seen the tach work correctly?

If not, tachman.com can Calibrate your tach.
