Tire Size for a 1968

I have a 68 coupe and I am wondering what are the largest width tires I can use with out having problems? I dont want them to rub or have to bend the fenders out.

I use the site Tirerack.com to see tire sizes.

The front need to be 24.5" or less and 8" tread patch or less.

The Rears can be 25.5" or less and tread patch of 9" or less

Im running on my Red Car a Nitto NT555R 245/45/17 ,
17"X8" with a 4.5" back spacing Front and rear.

tire was specially designed for competition drag racing use. This tire outperforms all drag racing radial tires, provides impressive control and handling, and still delivers up tp 15,000 miles of tread life for normal street driving use. These tires are manufactured with the original tread depth of 6/32'' and are constructed with a specially formulated soft racing compound to provide maximum traction.
