Tach question again

After checking the Tachmans website it appears that i have to much resistance, could some one tell me if the PINK wire going from the switch to the tach is a resistance wire, this is a 67 with factory tach and if this pink wire is indeed a resistance type wire and the coil is also the 1.5 ohm (which it is} then i would have double inline resisters and the tach would read half scale which is what it is doing.
Is anyone else using a petronixs ignition with a factory tach, if so what type of coil are you using??

Yes the pink wire is your resistor wire. The coils should have no resistance.

Just be careful with what you are doing. Everything your talking about cost a little bit of money.

Yes I have a 1967 with a factory tach with Pertronics. Mine works

I have a 1966 with a rally pac with pertronics, works also.
