Tach question again
After checking the Tachmans website it appears that i have to much resistance, could some one tell me if the PINK wire going from the switch to the tach is a resistance wire, this is a 67 with factory tach and if this pink wire is indeed a resistance type wire and the coil is also the 1.5 ohm (which it is} then i would have double inline resisters and the tach would read half scale which is what it is doing.
Is anyone else using a petronixs ignition with a factory tach, if so what type of coil are you using?? |

Yes the pink wire is your resistor wire. The coils should have no resistance.
Just be careful with what you are doing. Everything your talking about cost a little bit of money. Yes I have a 1967 with a factory tach with Pertronics. Mine works I have a 1966 with a rally pac with pertronics, works also. |
