want to upgrade the shifter on my T4 tranny 65 stang
do I HAVE to shifter everytime i need to with this shifter, or can i just thow it in drive when im just cruisin?

it is just a shifter. If you put it in drive, it is in drive.
Just like the shifter you already have. It just keeps you from knocking it into neutral. It is kinda pain in the ass to use for a every day driver. |

The only time you'er going to HAVE to shift an automatic is if you put a manual valve body in the transmission.

ok thanks mudstang one and i thot if i were to race some one i was suppose to start in 1st then shift up to drive? i must be mistaken thanks guys

For people that race all the time they shift 1s, 2nd then drive holding it to there red line.
but if you are just using a stock 5.0 setup the red line will be 5k The red line on my 427 W Stroker is 7500 RPM. |
