Is it a 67 or 68? HELP I can't tell

Hey guys, I'm sure to most of you this is a ridiculous question but I can't figure it out for sure. I bought a mustang body for a 67. However, now I am beginning to work on it (lots of work to do) and I am not sure if I have a 67 or 68 mustang. The VIN on the dash is gone and the VIN on the door does say 67. However, there was a VIN dash tab laying in the car for a 68. When searching for parts, most say 67/68 but I want to know what I have. Is there a distinguishing body mark I can go buy? I know the grills are a little different but I don't have a grill...LOL Thanks for any help you can offer. By the way, my dad and I are restoring this 67/68 stang and a 69 currently. Will be asking many questions in the future I'm sure.
Thanks for your help!

Other than what MustangOne mentioned, the font of the "Mustang" print on the sides in front of the doors was changed from block lettering to cursive in 68. The steering wheel was changed from 3-point to 2-point in 68. in odd-number years (65, 67) the grill also came with wings on the sides of the pony emblem, in even number years (66, 68) there were no wings. In 68 even the foglamp package made the lamps freefloating and didn't use wings. So there were plenty of differences. You've gotta be able to tell from one of those characteristics. The steering wheel should be a big give-away.

67 mustang have NO blinkers on the front fender and rear fender...Also the 68 stang has a special hood that has 2 blinkers on it...Because of safety in 68 they added alot of safety..other than that they are pretty much the same..I have a 67 stang
