Exterior Work...help!?

i have a 68 1/2 mustang in my garage at the moment. currently it has a cheap black paintjob over the 40 year old canary yellow paint that was done about 5 years ago. i also need some new chromed bumpers with top of the line weatherstrippings...(tired of my windows whisteling...hah) anybody have any ideas on color ideas and where to get the chromed bumpers and weather stripping? [another question...would it be easier to try save medium tarnished emblems, or buy new ones?]

please help me out!
