My Baby

Here is my baby a '67 coupe. I drug it home out of a friends yard where it had sat for years for 400 bucks. I just got her painted all up and am working on smoothing out all the paint (got some orange peel when painting in my barn but all in all not bad.) and putting the interior back into it. I have a 351W to put into it that was supposedly rebuilt and kept bagged 6 months before I bought the car. Hope you guys like it and I'll probably be asking alot of questions of ya since this is my first project car.

Thanks in advance for all your help,
Michael

Pretty good for $400.
Hit the paint with rubbing compound (or wet sand first) then polishing compound & buff it out.
Should look good

I love my 65, but I just have to say I have always liked the tail lights on the 67's and 68's

Looks pretty good. I've been looking for a 67-68 coupe to replace the 65 coupe I sold a few years ago.

So I now put some new wheels on it (American Racing outlaw II) and a whole new grill. I'll get pictures up later. I've also found that our barn paint booth didn't work as well as we had hoped. So for anyone that is thinking of doing it in their own shop make sure you have good air flow and sufficient space and lighting. Our issue was spraying down low and getting even coats because our lighting was horrible.

Finally put a battery in the car and tested my wiring job. Got nothing at first and then quickly found that the negative cable couldn't attach to the block since I had no grounding strap hooked to the rest of the car. after grounding to the frame everything came on super excited to hook up the engine and get her fired up soon now. The American auto wire harness was super easy to install and I now have power connections for if I ever want power windows or locks already in the harness and fused. Also the fogl ights connected directly into the new harness. It was well worth the money and time to put it in.
