shaking clutch

I recently replaced my clutch in my 1967 mustang and now the clutch shakes like crazy. It only shakes when it's depressed and it is only sometimes. I'm thinking something is wrong with the throw out bearing, any recomendations?

If it's shaking while it's depressed, it's not likely that it's the throwout bearing. If you let out of the pedal a little, does it still shake? I'm thinking your Z bar needs to be adjusted, because the clutch is moving too far out when the pedal is fully depressed.

Sounds like a bad engine mount on the driver's side or wheel hop.

If the clutch is depressed, the car will not be moving. I still say check the adjustment, as there should not be any pressure on the pressure plate either.

Actually he never states if it's fully depressed or not, so it's hard to determine what it is.
